Northern Goju Triad

Northeastern Goju Triad

The Northern Goju Triad is made up of USA Goju dojo’s, Union Vale and Newburgh. The Union Vale dojo (formerly Millbrook) is the oldest of the schools, and is located at the Tymore Park Meeting Facility in Lagrangeville, New York. Thomas Maloney and Joseph Rinaldi both instruct there, co-teaching USA Goju to classes of children and adults ranging from beginner to black belt.

Instructors

Thomas Maloney has been practicing Goju karate since 1978 and holds the rank of Rokudan.

Joseph Rinaldi has been practicing Goju karate since 1981 and holds the rank of Rokudan in Goju and Sandan in Ju Jitsu. The school hosts both tournaments and seminars, and is open to anyone who is interested in seriously studying Goju karate.

Rich Fiore is also a Rokudan in USA Goju, who originally started training in karate in 1968. He also spent several years studying the bo, and teaches the bo to his senior students, in addition to USA Goju karate.

The Newburgh Dojo is located in the Glenn E. Hines Community Center in Newburgh, New York. The school holds a youth tournament each fall.
Trains: Saturdays – 10:00am to 12:00pm (except holidays) (Children Classes but Adults are welcome)
